Home Culture

What does a Jesus home culture look like?

If your Christianity doesn’t impact you at home, what good is your Christianity? This is a profound question that I don’t think many people understand. As a pastor I do understand AND I know how big of a deal this is.

The next generation, many of our young people are leaving the church and the Christian faith of their parents in mind-blowing numbers that we have never seen in this country. Their parents professed a faith publicly but didn’t live it out inside their homes. They fought with people about the sanctity of marriage online but didn’t fight for the sanctity of their own marriage at home. They outsourced their children’s spiritual development to a program, but didn’t help them develop their faith at Home.

The good news is: If we get this family culture thing right, it will transform our home lives and our family tree for generations.

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
(Ephesians 5:15-16)
