What’s called insane in one season will be called fearless in another
Not everybody will agree or cheer for the things that God has ordained. (In fact, sometimes these things can seem downright irrational!) But when you have a vision or a word from God, you’ll live your life on the edge again. You’ll stop playing it safe as it relates to your vision. There is no safer place to be than putting it all on the line for Jesus.
Have you ever said, “God I’ll quit my job, move to that side of town, give that money, stay at that job, etc.”? (Fun fact: We assume that it only takes faith to leave something, when many times it takes a fearless heart to stay in it.)
No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. 6 “Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. 7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. 8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. 9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”Joshua 1:5-9 NLT
But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes; 7 and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. 8 If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ 9 Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.” 10 And all the congregation said to stone them with stones.Numbers 14:6-10 NKJV
